.NET Developer -- Technology & Development
JOB SUMMARY
.Net Developer -- Technology & Development is team player that enjoys working in a collaborative environment to produce and deliver smart and innovative web-based applications for a dynamic and varied client base.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works with multi-disciplinary team to understand system/application requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
- Independently, and as part of a team, develops web-based applications that meet client's needs and perform efficiently and as designed
- Capable of performing a range of programming functions while applying technical best practices
- Consistently delivers high-quality output
- Communicates professionally with clients and internal staff to identify needs and evaluate solutions
- Willingness to explore new technologies, learn new concepts and share ideas with others
- Mentors junior developers to encourage and facilitate their professional development
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Experience in handling multiple projects and tasks while meeting deadlines and respecting budgets
- Ability to thrive in a team development environment while also being able to work independently
- Understands complex web development, .Net concepts and database concepts
- Understands the benefits of various design methodologies and object-oriented environments
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 4+ years of application/web development experience
- ASP.Net, C#, SQL Server, Reporting Services, VS 2010, NUnit
- Data architecture and external data integration experience desired
- Experience with Sitecore, Ektron, Orchard, Umbraco and other content management systems a plus
