Recently we developed two new sites for The Cleveland Clinic. The new Health News Portal delivers podcasts, video podcasts and email archives on a number of important health topics.
For The Office of Civic Education Initiatives at the Clinic, we developed a new virtual exhibition gallery for their Expressions program which utilizes the arts to engage high school students in the world of scientific research. Through project-based, peer-to-peer learning, students produce artistic interpretations of research conducted by classmates who have graduated from Cleveland Clinic science internships. In addition to giving participants a deeper, real-world understanding of art and science, the program promotes creativity, innovation, communication, and teamwork.
And, we designed, developed and launched a new site for the Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards, which recognize recent books that have made important contributions to our understanding of racism and our appreciation of the rich diversity of human culture.
