Optiem believes that web sites should be placed in the hands of marketers not developers. Non technical users should be able to manage the content on their site easily and immediately. To make this a reality Optiem integrates a Content Management System (CMS) in virtually every site we build. Over the years we have used many different content management systems and even built our own, so we know the best ways to use a CMS to give marketers the complete control of their site while making dynamic, flexible web sites that are appealing and easy to use.

Optiem has developed our own content management system, Bonfire, for use in smaller sites. This web-based CMS is very easy to use and provide as range of powerful capabilities such as content approval workflow, Microsoft Word-like editing, and multiple page templates.

For larger sites we commonly use Sitecore or Ektron. These enterprise class, web based content management systems are very easy to use and at the same time very powerful and affordable. Our experience in these tools as well as our strong development staff enables Optiem to use these tools to the fullness of their capabilities and extend them even further with custom programming.
