Information architecture is the science of figuring how to structure your website and then how to create a user experience that is smooth and easy. After defining the website’s goals by collecting clients' or customers’ opinions and assembling them in a coherent, weighted order of importance, we begin the process of organizing all of the information.

First, Optiem constructs a site map that creates a classification system for your products and services. We work with our clients and their customers to ensure the organization is easy to use and meaningful.

Once the information for the website has been organized, we create wireframes. These documents serve as a blueprint of the general website layout and user experience before design or development is created.

With the basic structure in place, Optiem will work with personas and use cases to ensure all users’ needs are being met. Once that has been completed, design and content strategy can start organizing the future site into pages of content and functions that the site will need to have.
